10 Anti-Aging Drinks.

Everyone is looking for a way to beat the signs of aging. Whether you’re looking for younger skin, a way to fight off dementia, or a way to maintain your general health, you need the right information to stay on track.
Here are 10 anti aging drinks that you can incorporate into your diet to help you fight the signs of aging.

1. Red wine.
Red wine is full of resveratrol, which has been shown to reduce inflammation and improve longevity. Resveratrol is also found in red grape juice, but we think red wine is a little more fun to drink.
2. Water.
70% of your body is made up of water. Every function within the body requires water. If you’re not drinking water, your body cannot flush toxins correctly. Water is also an essential element in the skin, hair, and nails. When these three the body parts become dry and brittle, they make you look old. Water really is one of the keys to maintaining a youthful glow. If you aren’t already drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, you should start now.
3. Beet Juice.
Beets deep purple color means they have a ton of vitamins minerals and antioxidants. Antioxidants have been proven to reduce free radical damage within the body and free radical oxidation is one of the leading causes of aging and damage to the body. Beet juice may not sound like the most appetizing thing to drink, but you will love the results when you get stronger hair, nails and younger looking skin.
4. Carrot Juice.
Carrots contain beta-carotene, one of the leading vitamins meet needed to maintain healthy eyesight. As we age our eyes age with us. Age-related macular degeneration is one of the leading causes of sight loss in older populations. Enjoying carrot juice semiweekly can help prevents some of the damage that age does to our eyes.
5. Green Tea.
Green tea is another drink that is full of antioxidants that help fight free radicals in the body. Since chronic inflammation is one of the leading causes of disease and aging in the body, it is important to have plenty of free radical fighting antioxidants. The fountain of youth may very well be antioxidants found in things like green tea berries and beet juice. Studies have shown that people, who consume 500 mg of green tea polyphenols, which comes to about 4 to 6 cups daily, cut their oxidative stress levels by 50%. That’s a pretty impressive number when considering oxidative stress is the number one cause of cell degeneration.
6. Soy Milk.
Soymilk is chock-full of calcium, vitamin D, and protein, three essential elements to build strong bones and muscle, both of which decline with age. Soymilk is a great nondairy way to make sure you’re getting your daily dose of calcium to prevent osteoporosis as you age.
7. Fruit Smoothies.
If you’re not a huge fruit eating fanatic, that’s okay. You can get your daily dose of fruit by you eating a fruit smoothie. I’m not talking about the type of fruit smoothie that comes from Jamba juice and is 100% sugar. However, the type you make it home where you place frozen berries and bananas into a blender and make your own smoothie. These whole fruit smoothies will give you all of the vitamins and minerals you need without any of the added sugar that big smoothie chains add to their drinks.
8. Green Juice.
Green juice combines nutritional powerhouses like spinach, kale, beets, carrots, fennel, apples, cabbage, and all sorts of other fruits and vegetables into a super nutritious juice. The nice thing about these juices is that you’re getting a ton of micronutrients that you simply couldn’t eat during the day. 9. Coffee. Surprisingly coffee has been shown to reduce the risk of skin cancer. Those who drink at least one cup of coffee, the caffeinated kind, a day reduce their risk of developing nonmelanoma skin cancer by about 10%. One of the benefits of drinking up to 6 cups of coffee a day was a reduced risk of death. Decaf simply doesn’t have the same effect.
10. Milk.
Last but not least, we have good old-fashioned milk. Since most milk is fortified with vitamin D, this is a great bone building drink that you should add to your diet. Unless you have lactose intolerance milk can be a great way to build strong bones and prevent age-related disease like osteoporosis.
All of these drinks are wonderful ways that you can help reduce the signs and symptoms of aging. Whether you’re trying to reduce age-related disease or simply trying to look younger incorporating these 10 drinks into your diet will make you look and feel great.
