Skin Care to Prevent Wrinkles

Wrinkles! Nobody wants a face full of those ugly lines and folds. There are some things that we really cant do much about that are the causes of wrinkles.

Aging is one of them. The sad fact of the matter is that our bodies wear out over time….our bones get thinner, our skin gets thinner or muscles lose their tone.

Its just a fact of life. Theres nothing we can do about aging.

Gravity is a good thing…it keeps us planted firmly on the ground but it also a factor of wrinkling.

Just the simple pull of the earths gravity on our bodies does cause the skin to wrinkle over time. Theres nothing we can do about gravity.

Our facial expressions are also a factor in wrinkling. When we smile, laugh, cry, frown, pucker or squint, we contract and relax facial muscles.

We make facial expressions even when we sleep. Repeated use wrinkles the skin. Theres nothing we can do about that either.

However, all of the above wrinkling factors combined over a lifetime dont come close to doing the damage that a few hours of unprotected exposure to the suns rays can do.

The first and most important skin care regime that you can practice is daily use of a sun block product that has an SPF factor of at least 15.

Before you step out your door each morning, this sun block should be applied and it should be reapplied throughout the day…every day….according to the product directions. Many make-up bases and moisturizers contain sun block today.

The second skin care product that you need to use is a good pair of sunglasses. Choose the kind that block UV rays and that wrap around the corner of your eyes.

Skin care for the prevention of wrinkles also includes not smoking and not drinking alcoholic beverages.
